The fat slides after a short time to weave in automatically down and can be rinsed thereafter easily with water.

JUMOMAT: With gentle effect a strong result

Automotive: Cars and trucks. Cars and truck cabs – 1 to 2 ounces per gallon of water makes an excellent shampoo that rinses streak and spot free. For trailers where road film, insect, salt, cinders and diesel smoke are a problem, mix JUMOMAT 1 to 10 and agitate with a soft bristle brush, until soil is loosened. Rinse with clear high-pressure water.

For white-walls, mix JUMOMAT 1 to 3 with water.

For truck wheels, engine and under carriage mix JUMOMAT 1 to 8 to 10 Stoddard solvent, spray on, and let stand for 15 to 20 minutes, rinse with clear high pressure water. 

Degreasing: Oil field equipment, engine blocks, heavy equipment, floors or any other surface where extra heavy grease deposits occur.                              Mix 12 part JUMOMAT to 1 part water. Then add 6-8 parts kerosene, solvent or diesel fuel. This will make an emulsion that gets thicker with repeated stirring.

This thickness serves a very important function, it causes the cleaner to cling to vertical surfaces long enough to get the job done. JUMOMAT in a solvent emulsion usually works in about 20-30 minutes. When grease start to slide, rinse off with high-pressure water.

For light to medium heavy degreasing, mix JUMOMAT with 5 parts water. 

JUMOMAT in floor scrubbing machines: In industrial plants use JUMOMAT at a concentration of 1 part to 20 parts water. Considerable sudsing will be noted and in the past, this has been an undesirable condition. However the suds produced by JUMOMAT are really more like foam, and are picked up more easily by machine than nonsudsing compound.

At this concentration JUMOMAT will remove oil, grease, dirt, extrusion compounds, sealants animal fats and many more.

In industrial floor scrubbing machines such as hospitals, rest homes, office buildings automobile agencies public buildings etc. use JUMOMAT at 1 to 30 parts of water.

Steam Cleaning: Use 1 to 2 pints for each 4 pounds of powder normally used or 0,5 oz. per gallon at the nozzle of the steam gun. The concentration may be made as high as 4 part JUMOMAT to 1 part water in the solution tank because there are no powders in JUMOMAT to fall out on the bottom of the tank to clog up small orifices and tubing, or create scale in steam oils. The metering valve may then control this highly concentrated solution. By using this method, concentration may be varied to fit any job by a single turn of the metering valve. JUMOMAT is safe on any surface that will tolerate steam. Because of its colloidal action JUMOMAT keeps scale from forming in steam coils.

Metal Cleaning: In soak or hand washing operations JUMOMAT is an excellent cleaner for the removal of mill and processing oil. No oil film forms on the water and rinsing is complete. JUMOMAT may also be used in spray wash systems where foam is no problem.

In soak or hand operations also in spray operations use JUMOMAT at a concentration of 1 part JUMOMAT to 5 parts water.

JUMOMAT has been successfully used in hot tank degreasing operations at 5% by volume to increase the activity of regular hot tank compound and rinsibility and retard the formation of oil and grease scum.

This same system has been used in alkaline metal etch tanks to improve the uniformity of the etch and retard the formation of KoH and metal ion salts.

Because of the absence of chlorines and halogens, JUMOMAT is excellent for use in cleaning titanium. Where the job is heavy enough to require added strength, as much as 10% caustic soda may add and still get excellent rinsibility.

What are Colloids? 

Colloids are sub-microscopic particles called "micelles". These particles are electrically charged and repel each other in a ceaseless movement.

Colloids in liquid solution measure 0,000.000.01 centimetres and cannot be seen with the most powerful microscope however, they reflect light rays that can be detected by complex electron microscope.

Due to the incorporation of colloids, the cleaning action of JUMOMAT is some extent related to the reaction of atom in a atomic explosion, because of the ceaseless random movement of atoms taking place in the compound, as well as oil, greases, dirt and soils etc. after JUMOMAT has penetrated them. 

How do Colloids work as cleaning agents? 

Solid soil particles are attracted to colloids, by what might be described as a magnetic field. When the attraction of colloids becomes greater than the force holding the solid soil particles together or to a surface, they are dispersed into individual particles that do not have the ability to redeposit.

That is to say, when colloids penetrate into dirt, greases, oils and other soils they break it up into billions of individual particles that constantly repel each other, making it impossible to stick back together or redeposit on a surface.

The power of the colloid in cleaning compounds is amazing in the extremely wide range of jobs it will do, without the undesirable side effects of other cleaners. 

An example of colloidal action An excellent example of colloidal action is the fog. To the casual observer, fog is nothing more than a cold, wet nuisance. However, to the trained observer, fog is billions of tiny droplets of water so close together that they obstruct the vision. They are always rolling in constant movement, but they never collide and fall out like raindrops. This is one of the few places that the movement of colloids can be observed. The tiny droplets of water that make fog are attached to colloids.

Aircraft Washing with JUMOMAT: Exterior: JUMOMAT may be used at a concentration of 1 part JUMOMAT to 5 to 10 parts of water, depending upon soil conditions. Spray on and agitate with a soft bristle brush, let stand until all soils are in suspension, and rinse off with clear high-pressure water. Where the aircraft is extremely dirty, especially prop-type aircraft where oils are blown back along the fuselage, mix 1 part JUMOMAT with 4-10 parts stoddard solvent. This mixture is excellent for engine nacelles, jet pods, and exhaust tracks. Additionally, this solution greatly assists the removal of dead paint oxide from snowcaps.

Interiors: Cabin Service: JUMOMAT mixed with 1 part to 10 parts water is excellent for removing nicotine stains from the outflow surfaces of air conditioning units, plastics, fabrics, etc. This same mixture leaves stainless steel shining and spot free.

The best means of application for this purpose is by non-atomising trigger type spray; wipe off, no rinsing necessary. 

Ship Washing: JUMOMAT is very effective as a hand wiping material in the engine room, where fuel oil, smoke, etc. are a problem. Mix JUMOMAT 1 part to 10 parts water and wipe the area down with a wet piece of waste or towel; no rinsing or further wiping is necessary.

JUMOMAT is excellent for swabbing down decks and bulkheads. JUMOMAT is free from chlorines to bleach painted surfaces, free from petroleum solvents to craze or warp plastics and fibreglass. It is completely safe to use throughout the craft. It has no ingredients to disturb the grain of fine wood. It prevents rust on exposed surfaces.

Small amounts of JUMOMAT may be induced into the ship’s ventilation system by means of an atomising spray to dispel foul air or doors.

A concentration of 1 part JUMOMAT to 10 parts water, very effectively removes mildew from lines, canopy, sails, rigging, upholstery and keel. This same mixture removes oil from bilges, decks, hull, engine cowling, as well as salt water and salt water spots from windshield, deck and hull, soft drink and beer stains, fish scales, blood stains, milk products and door of sour milk and coffee. 

Kitchen cleaning: Particularly within the kitchen area (particularly with fat contamination) JUMOMAT is recommendable (cleaning stove-, grill-, bake- and chip- area, the vapour deduction hood, in particular the lattice, the exhaust air shafts and -installations and other kitchen equipments). Also as dishwashers JUMOMAT can be used as other agents used before. Likewise sugar incrustations (e.g. from buried Cola -, lemonade or juice bottles) with JUMOMAT are removed easily.  

Window cleaning: Here JUMOMAT can be applied depending upon degree of pollution unto 1:10 with water diluted. Simply up-spray and leave 2-5 min. to influence. (The fat and nicotine deposits solve themselves from the surface and begin to flow down.) Rinse afterwards with water. The disks of glass become clean and touch-free. 

Cleaning of smocks: Mix JUMOMAT 1 part to 7 part water and leave the smocks weave in for 20-30 minutes or more; then remove the smocks and rinse off (or shower) with water. - Finished! The content do not pour away after using. It can be repeatedly reused.

JUMOMAT as a hand cleaner: Use it full strength. JUMOMAT is exceptional as a hand cleaner for mechanics, oil field workers and for other person whose hands get extremely dirty or stained from oil or grease. JUMOMAT does not defat the skin, but leaves it clean and soft.

Bar cleaning: Here JUMOMAT is suitable particularly well for the subsequent treatment, after the bar was cleaned previously with a metal cleaner. All bars all the same whether from copper, brass or stainless steel become touch-free and keep long continuously their gloss.
